Drainage that gets water away from your house
Gutters catch the water. Drainage decides where it goes. We install underground downspout lines and French drains that carry water away from your foundation, walkways, and crawl space.

Flat lots and heavy rain need a plan
Lowcountry lots tend to be flat with a high water table, so water has fewer places to go on its own. A downspout that empties right next to the house can put hundreds of gallons against your foundation in a single summer storm.
An underground downspout drain carries that water through solid pipe to a spot where it can safely come out, often through a pop-up emitter in the lawn. A French drain is a gravel-filled trench with perforated pipe that collects water from soggy areas of the yard and moves it away.
We look at where your water comes from, where it collects, and where it can go, then design the simplest system that solves it. Sometimes that is one extension. Sometimes it is a full French drain. You will know why before we dig.

What is the difference between a French drain and a downspout drain?
A downspout drain is solid pipe that carries roof water from a downspout to a safe spot. A French drain uses perforated pipe in a gravel trench to collect water that is already in the ground. Many homes need one, some need both.
Where does the water go?
To the lowest safe spot on your property, usually through a pop-up emitter in the lawn or to a ditch, swale, or the street where local rules allow. We plan the route with you before we dig.
Will you tear up my yard?
We dig a narrow trench, set the pipe, and put the soil and sod back as neatly as we can. Most lawns blend back in within a few weeks.
My downspout drain backs up. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. Buried lines clog with leaves, shingle grit, and roots. We flush them, and if a section is crushed or broken we replace it.
